Through acquisation of long time OEM manufacturer based in Pfullingen in Germany, ALSANZA Medizintechnik und Pharma GmbH was founded in 2011 and replaced the OEM production with the weight of ophthalmology and orthopedics products.

Alsanza GmbH is an innovative company bringing the best out of the market from an exclusive owned production. We are offering a large portfolio of Intraocular lenses, Viscoelastics and Eye Irrigating Solutions (BSS). Conception, development and manufacture are exclusively performed in-house.

Since Alsanza is an independent manufacturer, we aim to bring to the market generic products but mainly focus on new developments. This independence is our key for considering ourselves as an active actor in innovation.

ALSAVIN Family Intra-Articular Injections are indicated for the treatment of pain in osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee in patients who have failed to respond adequately to conservative non pharmacologic therapy and simple analgesics. ALSAVIN Family Intra-Articular Injections are sterile, non-pyrogenic, clear, non-inflammatory, highly purified sodium hyaluronate of high molecular weight, dissolved in a buffered physiological saline solution. The highly-purified sodium hyaluronate is obtained from bacteria by fermentation.
